Cristian Garrido is a Civil Industrial Engineer and Forest Engineer. He also holds diplomas in the following areas: Financial and Accounting Management, Geographical Systems (GIS), Information Technology (IT), Public Policies on the Environment and Human Resources and specialization courses in PMI.

Following his work at FOSIS IX Region in the preparation and assessment of community development projects, since 2007 he has worked in various geothermal projects in Chile. As head of field and communities, he coordinated with GeoGlobal Energy LLC (former Geotermia del Pacífico) in the exploration of the Tolhuaca geothermal system, in the IX region of Chile, up to the exploration phase of wells No. 1 and 2. He also worked for other geothermal projects such as Puchuldiza and Alitar. In addition, he worked for the Australian company HotRock Ltd., as a Community and Environment Manager, where he developed exploration activities in different geothermal concessions in Chile and Peru, where Longaví and Calerías stand out. From 2013 to date he has worked at EDC Chile and its Mariposa geothermal project. He currently works as Finance Officer of the company, having worked in the areas of operations, logistics, environment, sectoral permits and in the area of ​​geographic information systems (GIS).
